A few days back, Google unwrapped the latest Android O known as Android 8.0 Oreo. We have already listed the supported device to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo. Today I will share the link to download the Android 8.0 Oreo for Galaxy S6 (G920x). This ROM is an unofficial version of Android 8.0 Oreo built from the scratch by XDA Member lukasb06. Full Credits to him for making a build of AOSP Android Oreo for Samsung Galaxy S6. This ROM is under development. So in case if you find any bugs you can report to the source.

Remember this is in a development stage and may find some bugs, you can report it here so that developer can see the problem and fix it. Hope this will become more stable as day pass with the development.

PRE-REQUISITE 

  • This will work on Samsung Galaxy S6 (G920x) (Don’t Try this in Any other device):
  • Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%.
  • You will loose the original ROM or any CUSTOM ROM if you already installed on your phone. So make sure to Backup your phone before doing this step using TWRP or CWM or any Custom Recovery.
  • You can also backup all your apps using Titanium Backup or backup complete without Root
  • You must install TWRP or any Custom Recovery on your phone.
  • Download all the Zip files from below and Place it in your phone’s root of internal memory.
