Motorola Edge Overview
The Motorola Edge features a 6.8 inches AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, and with the trending punch hole to the left of the display. It also has an aspect ratio of 19:5:9, a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a pixel density of 384 Pixel Per Inch ( PPI ), a screen to body ratio of 95.9 percent, and it has a screen refresh rate of 90Hz.
While talking about the internals, the Motorola Edge sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, which is built on the 7nm process. This octa-core setup includes one Kryo 475 Prime core clocked at 2.4GHz, one Kryo 475 Gold core clocked at 2.2GHz, and six Kryo 475 silver cores clocked at 1.8GHz. To the GPU side, it sports the Adreno 620 GPU. Talking about the memory side, it comes with 4, and 6GB of RAM. And only with 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage. Further, this is also expandable via the micro SD card, and the device runs on Android 10.
Coming to the optics side, the Motorola Edge sports a quad rear camera setup that is arranged in a vertical manner to the left of the rear panel. This camera setup includes a primary 64MP sensor with an aperture value of f/1.8 and PDAF. This sensor pairs with an 8MP telephoto sensor with an aperture value of f/2.4, 2x optical zoom, and PDAF. Further, it gets a tertiary 16MP ultra wide-angle sensor with an aperture value of f/2.2. And finally, this setup also includes a TOF 3D depth sensor. It gets a single LED flash and can shoot videos in 4K. To the front, the device comes with a 25MP sensor with an aperture value of f/2.0
Lenovo owned Moto has included a 4,500 mAh battery on this device. This also come with support for 18W Quick Charge 3.0, and charges over the USB type C port. It is available in two color options, namely the Solar Black and Midnight Magenta. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot. Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE. GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, LTEPP, SUPL. And USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. Sensors on this include accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. How to Install AOSP Android 13 on Motorola Edge (racer)
As the title suggests, we’ve shared the requirements and steps to flash the AOSP Android 13 build on the Motorola Edge (racer) variant.
Before heading over to the guide, make sure to follow all the requirements below.
Pre-Requisites
Before we begin with this procedure, I would strongly recommend you create a backup of your device storage and all your files stored on your device. Moreover, following the steps mentioned in this post carefully is advised to avoid permanent damage or bricking your device.
Charge Your Phone
It’s highly recommended to charge your handset before unlocking the bootloader to avoid your device from shutting down occasionally while going through the process. Make sure to keep at least 50% of charge or higher for a smooth operation.
Download ADB and Fastboot Binaries
You can skip this adb and fastboot part if you have already installed TWRP Recovery on your Motorola Edge.
Using the ADB and Fastboot command (platform-tools), you’ll be able to boot your Android device into the bootloader mode (download mode), which will be easy for you to proceed with further steps. ADB (Android Debug Bridge) creates a connection or bridge between the device and computer to sideload files.

Download Motorola USB Drivers

Unlock Bootloader Your Phone:
You must first unlock the bootloader on your Motorola Edge to enjoy any custom ROM.

Download Android 13 Gapps:
It’s worth mentioning that most of the third-party AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROMs (also known as aftermarket firmware) come without any preinstalled Google apps package. You can manually install the Android 13 GApps by following our guide.
Instructions to Install:
- Connect your device to the PC via USB cable. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
- Then head over to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in the address bar, and hit Enter. This will launch the Command Prompt.
- Execute the below command in the CMD window or enter recovery mode by using the Volume and Power button combination. your device to TWRP Recovery:

- Now head over to the Install section and navigate to the downloaded vendor and firmware. Perform a right swipe to flash it.TWRP Home
- If you want Google Apps as well, then you need to flash it at this instance itself. Go to Install, select the GApps ZIP file, and perform a right swipe to flash this file.
- When that is done, you may reboot your device. Head over to Reboot and select System.
